Our client, SIAE MICROELETTRONICA, is a global microwave equipment manufacturer based in Milan/Italy, and is one of the best ranked microwave companies in the world. One of the wireless broadband pioneer, it was founded in 1952, growing rapidly in the field of telecommunications and enjoyning steady expansion in terms of sales, personnel and buildings. Now, SIAE MICROELETTRONICA designs, manufactures, markets and installs telecommunication equipment as: Point to Point microwave radio for PDH, SDH and Ethernet technologies, Point to MultiPoint radio systems, Flexible Access Multiplexer and Digital Cross Connect equipment, SDH Add-drop Multiplexers and Network management systems for large and small networks (www.siaemic.it).
Responsibilities:
- Managing subcontractors;
- Revise Civil Works (CW), maintenance & TLC contracts with customers;
- Evidence of:
Site acquisition;
CW turn key site construction;
Site design & acceptance;
TLC implementation of RAN and MW, ATM;
Operations & Maintenance of radio sites under maintenance contracts;
Projects and subcontractor control;
- Cost and budget analysis;
- Customer interface;
- Quoting and responding to RFQs;
- Project Management and Reporting.
Profile:
To qualify for these demanding projects, the successful candidate will have:
- Profound Project Management experience;
- Budget management experience;
- Proficiency in English;
- In depth knowledge of: wireless network systems and architecture, microwave systems and infrastructure;
- Results and customer oriented, reliable and accountable team player;
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously; strong analytical and planning skills; strategic thinking;
- Excellent communication and team management skills; excellent negotiation abilities;
- Bachelor in Electronics or similar (preferably Degree in scientific matters);
- Languages – fluent in English, both spoken and written; Italian - not required, but it will be considered a plus
- High geographic mobility to travel.
