Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
• Software configuration management and software process;
• Usage of state-of-the-art methods and approaches in application development and testing
Basic requirements:
• University degree, preferable in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automation, Electronics;
• Experience in C/C++ development on multiple platforms (Windows, Linux/Unix) and Assembly language – min 5 yrs;
• Design and implementation for network protocols, networking devices (switches, routers, gateway),
• Experience in embedded systems software, microcontrollers, etc.;
• Experience in RT applications & RTOS;
• Software configuration management and software process;
• Knowledge of other programming languages/scripting languages (e.g. Perl, TCL);
• Knowledge of operating systems fundamentals, device drivers, multiprocessor/multithreaded applications;
• Object Oriented Analysis and Design
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art methods and approaches in application design, development and testing;
• Spoken and written English- very good;
Would be a plus some of the following:
• Advanced knowledge of communications and networking protocols (TCP/IP, ATM, SONET, RTP, VoIP, PPP, UTOPIA) ;
• Knowledge on porting OSs on different platforms;
• Knowledge on multimedia transport protocol ;
• Knowledge on hardware design;
• Networking certification;
• Experience in using simulating and modeling tools
